Have you always wanted to see and experience the great white shark up close? In Mossel Bay, this dream comes true! In fact, Gansbaai prided itself as the hot spot for great white sharks for years, but things are different these days. This is due to the orcas that have hunted the many young great white sharks in the region. Interestingly enough, this is due to the liver of sharks, which is very rich in fat and therefore provides a lot of energy. As a result of this new behavior of the orcas, you will still find many providers in Gansbaai with posters and pictures of great white sharks, but you will only see bronze sharks there. The great white shark, on the other hand, was carried even further east - Mossel Bay. Here we were lucky to be able to see several sharks at once. There was talk of daily sightings. So if you want to experience an unforgettable adventure, then you shouldn't miss this highlight with the powerful predator!
